Artist Bio:

Born and raised in Costa Mesa California, Andie Piovesan had a passion for flowers at a young age creating designs for family and friends starting at the age of 15. After graduating from California State University of Long Beach with a degree in Sociology she moved to San Marcos with her family. Her floral career officially started at a successful brick and mortar flower shop in Escondido California that had been a staple in North County San Diego for decades until the owners retired. They took a chance on her with having no formal flower shop experience. Andie started by processing flowers and cleaning buckets for months while her mentors took her under their wing, all which had been in the floral industry for over 25 years. She then moved her way up to the front of the house and eventually became a full time designer. Andie then moved on to work for one of San Diego's largest floral companies designing high volume weddings and events. 3 years after her floral career formally started, she followed her dream to establish her own floral business leading to the creation of Prairie Fields Floral Co.

Andie's love and passion for all things vintage influences her floral design and the branding of her business. From vintage fabrics, architecture, cars, clothing, and everyday items, her love for vintage adds a unique charm to her floral design. Music is also a huge inspiration for Andie, she pulls inspiration from a wide range of 1960's garage rock,  1950's/ 1960's country music,  1970's/ 1980's punk rock and lots in-between.
